Making FIFA 16 the must have game of the year for current gamers

 

THE CHALLENGE

The goal was to grow the business by getting current gamers to play more. The problem was, at this point, gamers thought FIFA 16 was the same as FIFA 15.

But FIFA 16’s features gave players more control. There was more ball control, balance and recovery of players. No-touch dribbling for 1-on-1 situations. And No more unstoppable attacks or superhuman players.

THE STRATEGY

Although FIFA focused on control, we wanted to talk about what control gave gamers. It gave them opportunities to take advantage of moments.

In one 90 minute football game there are thousands of moments. It’s up the player to seize the moment and make it beautiful. FIFA 16 gave gamers the control to turn any football moment into a moment of beauty.
